Instrucciones para autores
The language of the manuscript may be either Spanish, Portuguese or English (either American or British standard, but not the mixture of both).
- Length of paper
The length of the paper should be between 4,000 and 5,000 words excluding the reference list and appendices (if any). Authors are urged to write as concisely as possible, but not at the expense of clarity.
Articles should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 Font, using 1.5-line spacing (including footnotes and references) on A4 page size with 3cm margins all around. Add no space before or after paragraphs; press the Enter key twice, instead. The whole text should be justified in only one column. Use no boldface (other than title and subtitles), nor any indent, or underlining. Italics should be used only for foreign words or emphasis, besides APA requirements for the reference list.
- Title Page
A separate file should include:
- The title of the article,
- The name/s of the author/s,
- The institutional affiliation,
- The email address of the (corresponding) author/s, and
- Brief curriculum vitae no longer than five lines (for each author).
To facilitate anonymous peer review, details (ii) to (v) should not be included with the main text of the article.
Please provide an abstract of 150 to 200 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.
Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.
The author may use acknowledgement section in the title page of the paper (not within the main text file).
- Subdivision of the article
Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1, 2. (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2), 1.2, etc. The abstract is not included in section numbering.
- Table, Figures, and Musical Examples
Present tables, figures, and musical examples within the article, not at the end of the article. You may also include audio and video examples in .mp3 and .mp4 formats, respectively.
